Southwest FireCLIME, in collaboration with NIACS and the USDA Forest Service, has developed a set of Adaptation Strategies and Approaches designed specifically for managing fire in a changing climate. The fire menu is a resource for managers that offers a diversity of climate-informed approaches suitable for land managers seeking to support ecosystem adaptation to changing fire regimes.

This list of adaptation strategies and approaches was co-produced through a manager-scientist partnership. This tool is applicable to fire-prone ecosystems and for fire managers who need to connect the dots between fire ecology, climate science, adaptation intent, and management implementation.
