New Hampshire <<return to state

The entire state of New Hampshire is within the New England Framework. New Hampshire is composed of two Ecological Provinces, the Eastern Broadleaf Forest (221), and the Adirondack-New England Mixed Forest (M211). Understanding and managing the impacts of climate change on New England’s diverse forests will help us maintain their many benefits for years to come.

Use the menu above to explore Partnerships, Vulnerability Assessments, Forest Adaptation Resources, and Demonstration Projects in New Hampshire or return to the New England Climate Change Response Framework.

Please contact Maria Janowiak to learn more about this effort.

Demonstration Projects

  • The Dartmouth College Second College Grant is participating in a nation-wide study called Adaptive Silviculture for Climate Change (ASCC). The goals of this project are to test different silvicultural approaches to climate change and forest health adaptation that will also serve as useful examples across the country.
